The Shanghai Shawl

Make a statement anywhere you go in this fabulous, one-size-fits-all Shawl. A great project to use up remnants from other projects, this shawl can be made in a Pieced Version or a Single-Fabric Version. Fabulous in quilt cottons and wonderful in Silks, Brocades, or Wools. Cover model shows optional piping and decorative accents. Pieced Cover model is Quilt Cottons, innerlined with muslin and lined with quilt cotton. The Single-Fabric (View B) is washed Dupioni Silk, innerlined with Silk Batiste, and lined with washed Dupioni.

Calypso Jacket Pattern

Fun, Fast and Fabulous! This one-size jacket can be made from pieced fabric or plain and can easily be reversible. This is a short jacket with a nice swing to the hemline - flattering and feminine. The cover model is from quilt cottons, lined in quilt cotton and innerlined with muslin. For a softer effect, use linens, rayons, blends, etc. The optional innerlining will add additional body, but for can be left out for a flowing finished garment.

Tasmania Jacket Pattern

The flattering flames on this jacket are repeated on the back and sleeves, while the long neckline opening matches the front accent flames for a flattering neckline. The easy jewel-neck design has optional piping around the entire outer jacket edge and lower sleeves. The jacket is fully lined and the pattern includes complete instructions for handling the curves and points as well as bagging the lining.

The 4x4 Jacket Pattern

Sure to become a favorite, this casual-fit jacket has roomy front pockets (optional), a decorative button closure and is fully lined. This is a great project to use up lots of small scraps because the smallest piece is only 4"x4" square. You can start with fat-quarters or yardage - or clean out your scrap closet! The yardage specified will give you a little extra of the finished ‘whole-cloth’ fabric, so you might have a little left over for a tote-bag or accessory to match the jacket.

Topanga Jacket Pattern

Add a new dimension to your wardrobe with this beautiful, artistic jacket. The classic, tailored styling is fitted across the shoulders with straight sides for long sleek look that is flattering to any body type. The neckline has a stand in the back which curves down to a V-Neck, meeting in the center front and fits nicely under blouses with standard collars. Strippy Scrap Jacket Pattern

Calling all fat-quarter collectors - anyone with a great collection of small scraps!  This box-style jacket is fitted through the shoulder area, but full through the lower back to provide ease of movement.  The straight sides are perfect for colorful strips and with the addition of shoulder pads (optional) you can turn an everyday jacket into a great-fitting jacket with a tailored look.  You choose your colors, embellishments and finished style.  Jack is lined (optional) and detailed instructions are included for attached shoulder pads.

Quarter Circle Jacket Pattern

This great jacket is designed with no shoulder pads and has a little extra ease across the back for comfort. There is an optional front pocket and optional lining. The quarter circle quilt blocks can be arranged in an endless variety of designs and we have included the layout for the jacket on the cover. We suggest that the background be one fabric so the circles can take center stage. Purchase fabric for the circles or create from your personal stash.

Mt. Fuji Jacket Pattern

Inspired by the traditional Japanese Kimono, this Wearable Art Jacket has a few modifications that make it more practical for everyday wear. The shoulders are slightly dropped so there is freedom of movement in the shoulder and underarm area. The kimono sleeves are slightly smaller around and are shortened just a bit so they won’t get into things when you reach for something. Instead of the traditional band at the neckline, we opted for a gentle jewel-neck which makes it easier to select a blouse to wear underneath the jacket. This jacket can be lined or unlined and can also be reversible.
