This website is not a complete listing of all family members, but rather a gathering place to share the stories and articles written about various people, to explore our history and to gain a sense of where each of us fit into the bigger picture.

If you are completely new to this website, suggested starting points would be the Pedigree Charts if you see someone you recognize.  You could also explore the descendant charts if you want to start at the 'top' - i.e. the oldest known person in each tree.  For the people we have extra history about or pictures to share of them there are specific pages - make sure and visit a few of these pages to see these faces from the past.

Note -- When you read the stories and articles you will discover that there is more than one Smith family in this tree.  The primary line of Smiths begins with Thomas Smith (see descendant chart), while another Smith line came with the marriage of Philena Smith to David Coleman - The primary Smith family merged with the Coleman family at the marriage of George Roger Jr to Jennie Lyda Coleman.
