| Music
Box with Dog Bank -
Email |
 |
 |
|
|
| Price: $36.50 USD |
Item : MSC129 |
Condition: see descrip |
Year: Unknown |
| Description:
A little TLC will make this bank a real
treasure. It is stamped West Germany, silver colored (plated I
think) and beautifully engraved on the top with a stylized leaf
design. The music box mechanism still works. The dog on
the top is either a poodle or a schnauzer (it's a bit stylized, too)
and the plating on the dog shows some signs of wear.
There are 3 screws in the top that attach the music mechanism to the
underneath of the lid - these screws have discolored the metal, but
I think it would clean up. The little lock on the side is also
stamped Germany and is a Boss Lock. There is no key, but it is
easy to open. There is a small screw missing on the other side
of the lid, but there is no damage. |
