Elephant -

|
|
|
| Price: $18.50 |
Item : MSC1 |
Condition: see descrip. |
Year: unknown - about 1950's? |
| Description:
A nice older, hand-carved wood elephant - very dark
wood. Stands 6 1/4" high at top of trunk, about 5" long and
about 2 1/2" wide. Both tusks still there. No markings,
just a nice art object to enjoy. 1950's or older - known because
of the estate it came from. |
| Oriental
Fan Lot -
Email |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Price: $50.00/lot |
Item : MSC101 |
Condition: see descrip. |
Year: see descrip. |
| Description:
This lot is a group of 5 oriental fans. The two
smaller light colored fans are plastic and one has a nice painted
scene. The two brown fans are wood - 1 is sandalwood and the other
is a different wood - very lightweight. All four of these fans are
in excellent condition and estimate of age is c50’s or 60’s. The
larger fan is extremely old - circa 1900’s. I found a perfect one
on ebay listing for $1100.00 - mine is not perfect. Several of the
individual fan pieces are broken, split or chipped off. The ribbon
appears to be original and is intact. This is made from either bone
or ivory and would make a beautiful display fan. The price is for
all 5 fans. |
| Texan
Cap Gun -
Email |
 |
 |
|
|
| Price: $35.00 |
Item : MSC136 |
Condition: See descrip |
Year: early 50's |
| Description:
This was Matt's favorite toy when he was very
little. It is a Texan (not a Jr), made by Hubley. There
thumb 'knob' for opening it (you can see I never had one) is broke
off, but otherwise the cap gun is all there. The body of the
gun is very ornate and there is a 'Texas Longhorn" bull in the
molded handle on both sides. Although this cap gun is not in
'mint' condition, it is quite impressive and weight almost 1 1/2
pounds. |
| Pair
of Brass Candle Pots -
Email |
 |
|
|
|
| Price: $28.00 |
Item : MSC149 |
Condition: Excellent |
Year: unknown |
| Description:
I don't know if these are really candle pots, but I don't
know what else to call them - and they would be great for votive
candles, so . . . . . Candle Pots they are :-) They are 3 3/4"
tall and 3" across. They are not stamped China, but they are of
very heavy brass and in the same style as the popular large bowls and
platters that are stamped - seem to be the same vintage of about
1940's or 1950's. There are small copper flowers and birds on
the outside and they need a really good cleaning. |
| Psyanky
Egg and Display Case -
Email |
 |
 |
|
|
| Price: $8.00 |
Item : MSC135 |
Condition: Excellent |
Year: unknown |
| Description:
OK - this is mixing up things a bit :-) The egg is a
Russian-style psanky egg and the display case is Asian - both are
beautiful. The display case is 2 3/4" square and
overall height is 5". The black egg stand is part of the
display case and the clear sides are glass. |
| Fabric

 |
 |
 |
| Price: $15.00 USD |
Item : MSC102 |
Condition: Very Good |
Year: pre 60's |
| Description:
This doll was in an estate and is at least from the
60’s or before. There are no tags or markings that I can find. She
is all fabric and she has lived in a drawer for much of her life.
The facial featuares are embroidery with yard and the hair is yarn.
There is some discoloration in the hair yarn but the yarn itself is
like new. There are no tears or rips in any of the fabrics that I
can find. She even has bloomers! She is 30" long. |
